I've been going to Blaine Dentistry since I moved back to Blaine in 2020 and I really appreciate how easy everything is! I can book an appointment online or call in and it is super speedy and personalized! Dr. Crane has been my provider for the 2 years I've been coming here and I have never had a bad experience! They are also very accomodating when you have bigger procedures and need to finance as well. Highly recommend to anyone new or who have been in Blaine for awhile!

Worst dentist in the US, I’m not a person who likes to post reviews no matter how bad I’ve been treated. This dentist put a crown on my chipped tooth, I was cornered into it because it was 3 times the price of a normal fill. The dentist was an Indian lady that did a horrible job, when I stated that it was not the best outcome she told me it looks great. My entire family told me it looks messy including my wife. I was promised that the crown should be covered for 4-5 years with no issues, mind you I’ve had some last 7 years. I was randomly driving one day and my tooth fell out 6 months later, after paying $1,600 out of pocket. I had recently moved to California and can’t go in to get it checked out, I called and the lady at the desk told me to get lost. What an amazing experience to avoid, scan art at its finest

On Wednesday July 5, I had an appointment for an exam and cleaning. New to area and just got my dental insurance with employer and in need to getting my wisdom teeth out. I showed up for my appointment to find no hygienist, but they could do x-rays and exam and come back the next for cleaning. Fine. Came in next day for my ½ hour cleaning, told me $526 which I paid and out the door. Only to hear from family and friends, there is no way it should cost $526 for x-rays, cleaning and an exam with insurance. So on Friday and stopped by to get a copy of my bill. Wow, I was charged $2,825 for my cleaning. Immediately sent a copy to my Aunt who is a hygienist and my parents to share with my dentist back home. Lots of questions to ask. What I was billed was ADA D4341 Periodontal scaling and root planing which involves instrumentation of the crown and root surfaces or the teeth to remove deposit and/or roughness and is therapeutic, not prophylactic, in nature. Root planning is the definitive procedure designed to remove plaque and calculus from these surfaces. In short, a deep cleaning that I neither got nor needed even per my periodontal charting. Something that is a 3 ½ hour procedure which most people sit for only doing one side at a time. Was also billed $600 for July 5 exam and x-rays. So in total $3,425 for a ½ cleaning, x-rays and exam over the two days. After consulting with family and friends, on July 10 I went in demanding my bill be corrected and credit me what due back. I was told because I had insurance, $526 was my portion and that I was not going to get a refund. I put a fraud claim in on my credit card, contacted my insurance company and filed a complaint with the Blaine police department. I then returned July 11 with my mother. Explained I would pay for exam, cleaning and x-rays and what they did was insurance fraud and criminal. I did not get the services listed in their billing. Well, wasn’t more than a few hours later and they refunded me my entire amount. This business is unethical and immoral and would not recommend them to anyone. Nathan Kuhn
